Flash Point

Flash Point by Sam Francis shows a burst of colour moving across the sheet. The paint spreads in loose washes with edges that open and close. The title points to a moment where energy jumps. This fits the color field painting practice that grew after the war.

The piece arrives as a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. A matte surface keeps the colour tones even and stops shine from a lamp.

It fits the hall near the kitchen door where morning light passes by. From there you notice the broad colour blocks first, and the soft paint edges when you walk past.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
