Fog — Fine Art

Grey and blue wash across the whole picture, blending into a thin white strip along the bottom. Fog by Claude Monet shares air and distance as one. The water and sky lose their edges here.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel, so the picture arrives ready to hang. The wrap of grey over blue stays even because the paper is matte, and the frame keeps the picture flat on the wall without a glare.

In a narrow hallway, the soft grey spreads along the side wall and the colours recede into the distance. From the door you see the pale band of water at the base. Up close the painted strokes sit a little rough on the paper.
