Jericho

Jericho by Barnett Newman uses a wide field of colour with one dark vertical band set into it. The field is mostly red with a narrow strip of blue near the edge. A long black stripe runs from top to bottom through the middle.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Barnett Newman worked with large colour fields and clean edges in this kind of painting. This print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger on the back that fits onto a nail or screw.

The red field stays even and the black band reads as one solid line because the paper has no shine. The metal hanger on the back takes the weight of the print so you can set it on a screw in about a minute.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
