Landscape 1 — Fine Art

Landscape 1 by Chaim Soutine shows a rolling ground under a heavy sky. The paint is worked in thick strokes that push and drag across the canvas. Greens and browns mix where the earth meets the air.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The frame is a plain white finish that gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. That edge keeps the busy paint away from the room around it.

It fits above the sideboard in a dining room. From the table you see the dark strokes shape the hill, while the white frame keeps the scene settled.
