Phantom Interceptors

Phantom Interceptors shows a single dark shape rising from a flat mottled field. The eye enters on the top edge and settles in the middle, where the heaviest paint sits. Gerhard Richter leaves the rest of the sheet open.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. For this image the flat ground stays even under the hanger.

It works above the kitchen sink, seen while you rinse a plate. From the counter you read the dark shape and the empty ground, and the metal hanger stays out of the way.
