Seascape — Fine Art

Seascape by Thomas Moran draws on the practice of painting open water and distant shorelines. The image moves across the page with broad colour masses and a calm horizon line. A sea is the main subject here, with sky reaching away from the water.

The picture comes with a fine art print and a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame gives a clean edge against the wide water. A wood frame sets a warmer tone near the blue tones. The frame sits around the picture and gives it a clear edge on the wall.

On a bedroom wall the sea stays loose and open. From the foot of the bed you see the horizon first, then the sky tones as you sit up. A dark wood frame keeps the edge steady near a reading lamp.
