Still Life — Fine Art

Still Life shows a few simple objects resting on a surface in a bold colour scheme. Thick short strokes build the forms, and the tones sit against each other without blending. You see fruit and a table edge arranged in a direct still life composition.

The work arrives as a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the bright colours steady under a lamp and the solid backing holds the sheet flat on the wall.

It fits a narrow hallway painted in pale grey. From the far end you notice the dark table line and the bright patches of fruit colour. You stand close and see the quick short marks.
