Three Stacked Domes

Three stacked domes sit one above the other in a loose row, drawn with thin pencil lines on a light ground. The shapes are simple and repeat with small changes in height. Sol LeWitt made the drawing with a steady hand and a clear plan.

A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel holds the drawing. The matte surface keeps the pencil lines soft and the domes stay flat when you stand back. You can mount it ready to hang when you choose that option.

In a hallway with a narrow strip of daylight, the three domes read as clear shapes from the far end. Closer in, the pencil strokes show their even pressure and the white ground stays calm.
