Abstract Composition

Abstract Composition by Alice Baber uses thin bands of colour laid across a flat ground. The hues slip past one another and leave gaps of bare paper between them. You notice the wash first, and then the small shifts in tone inside each band.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper keeps the colour bands from shining under a lamp. When the ready to hang option is used, the print arrives assembled on the wall.

In a reading corner the bands sit across the view from a low chair. The eye catches each colour step in turn. The light comes from a single lamp on the side table.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
