About this work

Ancient Forest

Ancient Forest by Eyvind Earle shows tall trees with pointed tops standing in rows. The shapes lean a little and the ground stays low and dark. Thin lines carry the leaf forms up from one side to the other.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when the ready to hang choice is used. The matte surface keeps the greens soft and the shadows do not turn shiny under a lamp.

It fits above a long bench in a hallway. From the door you read the tree lines, and closer to the wall you see the plain ground behind them.

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
