Baptistry

Baptistry by Sam Gilliam places a broad wash of color across the sheet. The paint runs in one main direction, with lighter areas near the top and darker tones near the bottom.

You see the color field painting method in the way the pigment spreads and thins out. The fine art frame in a wood finish gives the sheet a clean border.

The wood edge sets the painted ground apart from the wall. The black band at the bottom stays steady against the frame. The picture works above a dining room sideboard, where the color band reads clearly from the hall door.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
