C-B-1 by Al Held

C-B-1 by Al Held shows bars and blocks of colour stacked across the picture. Hard edges hold the shape apart. The work belongs with his later abstract paintings that use built up forms rather than soft fields.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The print sits flat inside the frame so each sharp colour edge stays clear. A back panel covers the rear.

It fits on a kitchen wall above the counter. From the stove you see the blocks of colour, near the door you notice the hard lines between them.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
