El Palacio — Fine Art

El Palacio shows a low building standing alone under a wide sky. The walls read as solid shapes with a flat roof and small openings.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. Edward Hopper painted the same kind of quiet town scene again and again, using pale colours and sharp shadows. The matte paper keeps those soft tones from shining under a lamp.

A dark frame on a pale wall, or a light frame on a dark wall, follows the room instead of forcing a look. It fits well on a bedroom wall near the head of the bed. From the doorway you notice the roofline first, then the quiet side of the building.
