Figs — Fine Art

Figs shows a few dark fruit resting on a soft ground, built from flat coloured planes. The composition breaks the fruit into angles and planes that read clearly across a room.

Juan Gris painted in a cubist style, and the shapes here sit near each other without crowding the page. You can see the painted planes settle into a calm arrangement when you step back.

The paper stays matte inside a frame with a back panel, so the painted tones do not reflect under a lamp. This fine art print arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used. A dining room wall holds it well, where the warm fruit tones sit above a table and the flat planes stay readable from the doorway.
