Nirvana — Fine Art

Sharp rectangular shapes stack side by side in this picture. Peter Halley built these cells with bright hard edges. The layout feels structured and still. Nirvana - 1992 shows a field of stacked forms that repeat across the surface.

This fine art print keeps the flat paint look without any gloss. A light frame on a dark wall makes the bright colours stand apart. A dark frame on a pale wall does the same job. The matte paper holds the crisp edges well.
