Plastic Boxes 2007 — Fine Art

Plastic Boxes 2007 by Janet Fish shows clear containers stacked near a bright window. The paint catches light on the curved edges and glass sides. Colours shift between pale green and warm cream where the boxes meet the light. Janet Fish paints everyday objects with careful attention to how glass holds a reflection.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black and gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A white frame keeps the light tones soft against the glass shapes. A dark wood frame sets a steady line around the stacked containers.

It hangs on a kitchen wall above the counter where morning light falls on the glass. From the breakfast table you see the stack of boxes and the soft reflections on the panes.
