Red Again

Red Again by Sam Francis uses open red washes on a white ground. The paint runs in broad strokes with thin gaps between the layers. You can see where the brush moved fast and where it slowed down.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface lets the red tones stay flat and keeps the white space clear. When the ready to hang option is used the piece arrives assembled.

In a hallway with a dim light the red washes read as a warm band on the wall. From the landing you notice the open white gaps most, and the paint feels loose against the darker door.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
