Serial Project #1 ABCD — Fine Art

Serial Project #1 ABCD sets up a grid of small squares with letters inside them. The layout splits the page into clear sections, each one holding a single mark or letter. Sol LeWitt built the work from a set of rules rather than a free hand. The letters repeat across the sheet in a steady order.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the letters and the ground soft, so the black on white reads as a clear system. It arrives assembled when you choose the ready to hang option.

On a narrow hallway wall, the grid reads as a set of small signs. From the end of the hall you notice the regular spacing. Step closer and the letters inside each square come into view.
