Ski — Fine Art

Ski - 1952 by John Ferren shows a small figure on a slope moving through a quiet winter scene. The eye lands on the skier first, then follows the angled line down into the empty snow below. A few darker strokes hold the weight near the bottom left.

The rest of the sheet stays open and still. The page holds a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the cold whites flat so the slope does not shine under a lamp.

This print works well in a dining room where the wall stays bare. From the far end of the room the slope reads as one clean shape. From the table you notice the small marks near the figure.
