Sun by Jean Arp

The title Sun points to a round shape set in a field of grey and white. Jean Arp drew the shape with soft charcoal lines that fade at the edges.

fine art arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a frame. The matte sheet keeps the grey tones steady under indoor light and the round shape stays clear on the wall.

On a kitchen wall it sits above the counter, where the round shape reads at a distance over the stove. Close up you notice the faint paper grain and the soft charcoal lines. The image holds its calm shape in daily light.
