Sun Up

Sun Up opens on a white field with broad colour washes spread across it. The paint sits in loose pools and leaves thin edges where the colour thins out.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. Sam Francis built this kind of open space into many works. A white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall and keeps the bright field from bleeding into the room.

You notice the clear outline first, then the soft colour inside. A hallway wall above a bench works well. The frame edge sits clean against the paint and the open space stays open from the far end of the hall.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
