Weatherside — Fine Art

Weatherside shows a side view of a weathered house wall and the sky behind it. Andrew Wyeth uses dry brush strokes to build the wood grain and the rough siding.

The colours stay close to the ground, with brown tones sitting against a muted sky field. The fine art print keeps those thin layers of paint visible on the paper.

A light frame on a dark wall lets the pale sky stay soft instead of washed out. It hangs on a study wall above a desk, where the wood tones match the bookshelf and the slow marks stay steady from the chair.
