White Flag

White Flag shows a flag shape painted over a bare ground. The surface carries the painted surface Johns used across his career. At a distance you read the flag form first. Closer in you see the layers of paint that make up the colours.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger on the back that fits onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a frame. The print goes straight onto the wall for the flag image.

In a bedroom the flag reads across the far wall. From the bed you notice the painted colour bands. Up close from the pillow you see the small marks in the paint.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
