Wind Breaks

Wind Breaks shows a row of trees bending in the same direction as the wind moves through them. The trunks lean together and the leaves press flat against the branches.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The picture keeps its lines clean and the colours hold together without blending into each other. Eyvind Earle drew this scene with a steady hand and a clear outline. The work sits on the wall where the light comes in from the side.

A light frame sits on a dark wall and the dark line of the trunks stays clear. You see the pressure in each stroke when you stand near the door. The room stays quiet and the print does not crowd the space.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
