L'herbe infinie ondule sous un ciel pâle. La *Steppe* de Kouïndji commence ici, où l'horizon engloutit la terre.
De fines brins captent la lumière en touches d'olive et de paille. Un unique chemin de terre coupe en diagonale, disparaissant avant d'atteindre le bord. Les nuages bas, leurs dessous teintés du plus léger violet. Pas de figures, pas de bâtiments — juste l'insistance silencieuse de la terre ouverte.
