Criss-Crossed Conveyors, River Rouge Plant, Ford Motor Company — Fine Art

Criss Crossed Conveyors, River Rouge Plant, Ford Motor Company - 1927 shows industrial machines laid out in a measured way. Belt lines cross over a factory floor, set against a plain background. The picture reads as clean shapes and repeated forms rather than a busy scene.

The fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel, so the image stays flat and even. You see the crossings from across the room in a single sweep, and the edges hold their line when you stand nearer.

It works on a study wall beside a desk, where the crossings line up with the edge of a shelf. From the doorway you take in the whole plant, closer you notice the steady rhythm of the rails.
