About this work
Untitled Free Structures - 1960 shows a set of flat geometric planes arranged in a loose grid. The shapes use soft greys and pale whites against a muted background, so each plane reads as a separate block of tone. The composition feels measured and repeated, with each element spaced by the same quiet gap.
This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The print keeps the flat colour areas clean and the edges sharp, so the stacked planes stay readable rather than blending together.
It hangs on a hallway wall beside a narrow coat stand. From the first step inside, the repeated blocks of grey read as a simple rhythm, and the pale gaps between them stay clear under the ceiling light.
