Untitled 2007 by Chu teh Chun — Fine Art

Untitled 2007 sets a wide band of colour across the surface, with a softer field behind it. The brush lays paint in broad sweeps, leaving thin edges where the colour thins out. The marks move from one side to the other in a steady rhythm.

This fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel behind the image. The matte paper holds the colour without shine, so the painted bands read flat on the wall. The ready to hang option sends the piece assembled and ready to place.

On a kitchen wall near the sink, the cool tones sit over the daily clutter. While washing dishes you notice the smooth band and the quiet shift in tone across the piece.
