Trees by the Sea by Henri — Fine Art

Trees by the Sea by Henri-Edmond Cross uses short brush strokes to build the tree line and the water beyond. The paint sits in separate touches, so the sea surface reads as many small marks rather than one flat wash. You see the trees leaning toward the light.

The fine art frame in white wood gives the picture a clear border on the wall. That white edge keeps the painted strokes from spilling into the room, and the frame sits flat against the surface.

This fine art print works on a bedroom wall near the bed. From the bedside you see the tree colours clearly, and the sea part stays quiet in the corner.
