Un rectangle ocre flotte sur un fond cobalt. C'est P-t #5, la discrète rébellion de Corbett contre le bord de la toile.
Le champ ocre est parsemé de minuscules points blancs — de la poussière, ou peut-être les résidus d'un crayon gommé. Une seule ligne horizontale, plus foncée que le reste, coupe le rectangle en deux, suggérant un horizon qui ne se forme jamais complètement. Le fond cobalt n'est pas plat ; il s'assombrit vers les bords, comme si la couleur elle-même respirait.
