Blue and Yellow and Red-Orange — Fine Art

Blue and Yellow and Red-Orange by Ellsworth Kelly shows three solid colour fields set side by side. The blue sits against the yellow and the red orange joins the edge. The flat shapes sit on a plain ground so each tone stays clear.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame lets the blue and yellow keep their own tone without a dark border. A black frame gives the picture a firm outline that separates the three fields from the wall.

A plain white frame suits a hallway with pale paint. From the far end of the hall the three colour blocks read as one wide shape. Stand closer and the edges between the fields become sharp and clear.
