Eye of Zengai — Fine Art

Eye of Zengai opens on a single dark circle set inside a wide wash of colour. Thin lines and small hits of pigment spread around the centre. The painting follows the open colour field practice of Sam Francis, with colour laid in loose broad areas.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. A metal hanger is fitted to the back, so the sheet goes straight onto a wall nail or screw. No frame needs to be bought separately. The matte surface keeps the lighter areas soft without shine.

In a hallway with a pale door opening, the dark centre reads first from a distance, then the small colour hits appear as you pass. It suits a quiet corner above a narrow shelf.
