Great White Throne Zion Canyon Utah 1933 — Fine Art

Great White Throne Zion Canyon Utah 1933 shows a tall rock wall rising above a dark canyon floor. The picture uses strong warm tones on the stone and cooler shadows below. Fine art prints of this American Southwest scene follow the regionalist tradition of clear outdoor subjects and simple land forms.

This fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper keeps the rock tones steady and stops glare from a lamp. The frame holds the image flat and the back panel keeps the print from shifting.

Hang it on a pale plaster wall above a long wooden desk. From the desk you see the big stone shape across the room. Step closer and the smoother paint areas and the darker canyon edge come into view.
