Petunia II by Georgia OKeeffe — Fine Art

Petunia II shows a single flower seen from above. The petals curve inward and the centre stays open. Soft tones sit on a plain field. Georgia OKeeffe painted this with a close plant study in mind. The work keeps the flower form simple.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame lets the pale petals stay soft against the wall. A black frame gives the flower form a hard outline. The frame edge sits clear and steady.

It fits above a long sofa where daylight reaches the whole surface. From the sofa you read the petal curves. From the doorway the whole flower form reads at once.
