Preserved Peaches 1975 — Fine Art

Preserved Peaches 1975 by Janet Fish shows a still life with fruit set beside glass jars and smooth cloth. The paint holds bright yellows and soft reds against a steady background. Janet Fish paints objects with clear light so each item keeps its own tone.

The print uses a fine art finish on matte paper, so the yellows stay soft and the glass does not shine under a lamp. A light frame suits a dark wall while a wood frame sits well next to wooden furniture.

It fits a kitchen wall near the sink where morning light falls across the counter. From the table you see the fruit shapes first and the jar edges later.
