Round About - 1973 by Norman Bluhm opens on a circle of painted marks laid over a soft ground. The eye bends around the ring and rests in the middle where the ground stays open. Loose gestures push outward from that centre.

A fine art print of this painting comes with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. The edge keeps the circling marks from spilling off the sheet.

It fits a narrow landing between two doors. From the stairs you see the round shape and the painted strokes. The soft ground stays quiet against the painted ring.
