Vir Heroicus Sublimis — Fine Art

A broad band of red runs top to bottom across a plain field in Vir Heroicus Sublimis. The painted band holds the eye as you step back, and the field holds still around it. Barnett Newman painted in broad planes of colour.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger sits on the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw, so the band goes up level on the wall on its own.

From the doorway you read the red band across the room. Stand close and the painted mark fills your view. Place it on a wall at eye height near a window with soft daylight.
