Trois prunes reposent sur une surface plane. *Plums* de Georgia O’Keeffe les isole sur un fond pâle, laissant leurs courbes s'exprimer en premier.
La prune de gauche est d'un violet meurtri, sa peau captant la lumière comme de la soie mouillée. Celle du milieu est inclinée, d'un aubergine plus profond, tandis que celle de droite rayonne de roux et d'ocre. Des ombres s'étalent sous chacune, suffisamment nettes pour suggérer le bord d'une table. Pas de feuilles, pas de tiges — juste le fruit, la couleur et un poids tranquille.
