Pallas Athena Earth 1961 — Fine Art

Pallas Athena Earth 1961 holds a figure of the goddess standing firm, with colour blocks and brisk paint strokes that sit close together. The composition leans toward the bold figure studies Grace Hartigan made through her career, where a single subject fills the field.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame, and the picture goes up in one step.

On a dining room wall near the table, the broad colour areas settle into the room as you sit down to eat. From the doorway the figure reads as a solid shape, and the small paint strokes only show when you pass by.
