The Large Figure Paintings Nr 5 1907

The Large Figure Paintings Nr 5 1907 holds a group of tall figures set against soft ground tones. Hilma af Klint drew the forms with calm lines and quiet colour areas. The shapes stand apart, each one settled inside its own space.

A metal hanger sits on the back of this fine art print, so it goes up on a nail without extra work. The paper stays matte, which keeps the pale ground tones soft and stops any shine near a lamp.

Hang it above a plain desk where you sit for a while. From the chair you see the standing forms and the gaps between them. A thin light line crosses one figure near the top edge.
