Orange Pink Green 2003 — Fine Art

Orange Pink Green 2003 shows fruit shapes standing in a bright glass bowl. The paint spreads in loose strokes and the colours layer on top of one another. Janet Fish leaves the marks visible so the surface stays active.

This fine art print sits on a drywall above a built in bench. A light frame works beside pale boards, a dark frame on a white painted wall, or a wood frame near wooden furniture. Where the sun lands, the glass tones stay clear and the matte sheet does not shine.

In a kitchen near the breakfast table, the bowl sits in sight during morning coffee. The fruit shapes read clearly from the doorway and the brushwork shows when you stand closer to the wall.
