Composition

Composition - 1937 by John Ferren shows a painted field built from lifted colour and drawn lines. The work sets a soft mid tone against a cooler band, so each shape steps back from the next. The marks lean across the sheet and leave open space near the edge.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte sheet keeps the lifted colour from shining under a lamp.
