Constellation with 5 White Forms and 2 Black by Jean Arp

Five white shapes and two dark forms sit on a light ground in Constellation with 5 White Forms and 2 Black. The white shapes feel open and the darker shapes read as weight.

The tones stay close, so the picture keeps a quiet balance. Jean Arp made works like this from chance and simple organic forms.

The print is made as a fine art piece with a frame that can follow the room. A light frame on a dark wall lets the white shapes stand out, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture gives the shapes a warmer tone. Hang the piece on a kitchen wall at shoulder height so the shapes read from the table, and the light from the window keeps the white areas clear.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
