Haus Des Weissen Mannes — Fine Art

Haus Des Weissen Mannes - 1924 places a pale house shape at the centre of a plain field. The white building stands alone, with a few dark lines near the roof. Johannes Itten kept the space around it open, so the eye goes straight to the house.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. You can use the ready to hang option and it arrives assembled. The frame gives the white house a clean border, and the back panel holds the sheet flat against the wall.

It sits on a bedroom wall above the bed, where morning light hits the pale shapes first. From the doorway you see the plain house and the open ground, then you notice the small dark marks on the roof as you step closer.
