Red Ground Letter

A red ground letter prints on a single flat sheet of paper. The red color fills the background and the letter shape sits on top of it. The work belongs to the post war abstract tradition and uses a simple colour field approach.

A fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The frame holds the paper flat and the back panel keeps it clean. You can choose the ready to hang option and the print arrives assembled.

A bedroom wall with warm light works well here. From the bed you see the red field first and the letter shape later as you turn your head.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
