Sphere

A dark sphere hangs slightly off centre on a pale ground. The eye lands on the round shape, then drifts to the empty space around it.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. Lucio Fontana made this cut based work with a flat band of tone. The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall, so the dark circle keeps its weight against the white edge.

It suits a kitchen wall near a sink. From the table you notice the tight round shape, and the pale field stays cool under the ceiling light.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
