Marine — Fine Art

Marine - Lyrical Abstraction sets broad painted bands over a flat ground. Ochre and blue shapes cross the sheet in loose strokes, with thinner washes laid beside them. The marks stay open at the surface. You see the painted ground first, then the colour breaks.

The white frame around this fine art print gives the painted edge a clean line against the wall. Dark wood holds the same bands with a heavier line. Black keeps the outline sharp under bright light.

On a kitchen wall above the sink, the bands read as colour blocks from the doorway. Standing at the counter you notice the thinner paint layers beside the thicker ones.
