Paysage du midi — Fine Art

Paysage du midi - Art Informel opens with broad painted zones of warm earth and cool grey set against one another. The brush sweeps lay down weight, then lift, leaving a rough ground that holds the marks in place. You can see where the paint thins and where it stays thick.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, and the ready to hang option brings it assembled to the door. The matte surface keeps the midday tones from shining, so the painted layers read the same from the door as they do from the sofa.

Place it on the wall above the desk in a study. From the doorway the big painted shapes hold the room, and from the chair the small breaks in the paint show how the hand moved across the sheet.
