About this work
Untitled 14 Part Roller Drawing 1973 by Richard Serra shows a series of long parallel bands made with a paint roller on paper. The bands sit side by side with thin gaps between them, so the eye moves along the line of marks across the sheet.
The paper is matte, so the paint stays flat and does not shine under a lamp. You get this fine art print ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw.
No separate frame to buy. It looks settled on a narrow hallway wall where the passing light catches the edges of each roller band.
