Dead Leaf and Pod — Fine Art

Dead Leaf and Pod shows a dry leaf and a round pod set against a plain ground. The shapes are dark and the edges are rough. Vincent van Gogh worked in the post impressionist period and built surfaces with visible paint strokes. You can see the ground under the leaf shapes.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back. You place it straight onto a nail or screw. The surface is flat and matte so the dark leaf tones stay even under a ceiling lamp.

Hang it in a study on a wall beside a desk lamp. From the chair you see the leaf shape clearly, and the pod reads as a solid dark form.
